ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMARY

The Foro Sol is a mixed use sport and concert venue near Mexico City's main airport. It is within easy walking distance to the Ciudad Deportiva and Veldromo metro stops.

Parking:

Though regular vehicle parking was available at the venue, the promoter regularly publicized public transport options and organized bus pickup locations to the venue throughout the city.

Energy:

The energy for the show was provided by Luz y Fuerza, the federal light and power utility company as well as diesel-powered generators.

Recycling:

Garbage in Mexico City is divided into organic and inorganic disposables, some of which is then recycled. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/feb/24/recycling-revamped/

Catering:

Caterers provided washable plates and cutlery for all meals. Large water coolers were provided for use with our refillable water bottles, though sealed individual-sized water bottles were also available. Catering food waste was separated for composting at a local organic garden.
